Helios HR has been retained by The Sequoia Project to support its recruiting. The Sequoia Project is a non-profit with a public service mission to advance the ability of health IT systems to interoperate for the improvement of patient care, and the reduction of costs in the health care system. The Sequoia Project provides management and marketing support to two affiliated companies, Carequality and the eHealth Exchange. Carequality and the eHealth Exchange support operational health information exchange activities, with services ranging from legal and policy governance, to identification of standards, and technical directory and security components.
The Marketing Communications Coordinator works with the Director of Marketing Communications to execute the overall marketing strategy across all brands in The Sequoia Project portfolio, including its two affiliated organizations— Carequality and the eHealth Exchange. This individual will support a more meaningful relationship between The Sequoia Project, and its membership, as well as trade media and other audiences.
This role supports the Director of Marketing Communications in program marketing, public relations, and healthcare industry education responsibilities including brand management, public events, publications, social media and online presence. The Marketing Communications Coordinator works in cooperation with the CEO and the Executive Directors of all The Sequoia Project’s affiliated organizations.
Candidates must reside within commuting distance of The Sequoia Project’s Vienna, VA corporate office.

The eHealth Exchange Manager of Policy & Governance serves as the lead staff and subject matter expert on eHealth Exchange-related legal and trust agreements and operating policies and procedures. The Manager works in consultation with the Executive Director (ED), Coordinating Committee (CC) and Board of Directors.
The Manager works with the ED to evaluate new use cases, network capability and related policy implications to enhance and grow the network; and serves as the lead representative with participating federal agencies to accomplish coordinated innovative strategies supporting and accelerating a nationwide rollout of the eHealth Exchange Program across the U.S.
The Manager serves as a subject matter expert (SME) on eHealth Exchange governance, including in-depth knowledge of the Data Use and Reciprocal Support Agreement (DURSA), associated Operating Policies and Procedures (OPPs), and the CC—serving as lead staff and Secretary to the CC.
This position is open to telecommuting but candidates must be located in the Washington, DC Metro area in order to be available for meetings in the area.
