    Helios HR is seeking to hire a Director of Recuiting for our client located in Tysons Corner, VA. Our client is a private, not-for-profit organization that provides management consulting, research, and analysis to governments and other nonprofit organizations. The Director of Recruiting will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical direction to improve the efficiency and quality of the organization. Additionally, the Director of Recruiting will also be responsible for increasing the level of strategic thinking and proactive attention within the function and to build relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization. 


    • Strategize, advise and own reworking and refining the existing hiring processes to optimize for experience, diversity & scale.
    • Pro-actively collaborate with business leadership to understand and plan for future talent demand needs.
    • Develop and implement creative sourcing and recruiting strategies to build coompany talent pipelines
    • High level of business acumen, understanding of program operations and financial impacts of recruiting performance
    • Serve as primary liaison between the executive leadership team and the company recruiting team
    • Collaborate with company leadership on technical workforce planning / talent mapping initiatives
    • Solutions oriented with the ability to think outside of the box
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and act upon recruiting needs
    • Work with current Applicant Tracking System to design and develop recruiting reports and dashboards to analyze, forecast, track and communicate key operational metrics and future predications to the business
    • Create and manage a recruiting budget; including partners, tools and events.
    • Manage a growing team- developing team members at various stages in their recruiting careers, bringing recruiting expertise and best practices.
    • Establish appropriate goals/metrics to exceed organization growth objectives
    • Utilize industry best practices to enhance recruiting productivity and candidate experience
    • Leverage innovations and automation to improve or reinvent the recruiting process


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, a related field or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of 8 years of recruiting leadership experience within government contracting industry
    • A deep understanding of how to run a high quality, full cycle and/or custom recruiting process; and the ability to lead a recruitment team.
    • An innate desire to win and hire the best talent—achieving hiring goals.
    • A proven track record of achieving results in a fast-paced, growth and ever-changing environment.
    • An analytical mindset. The ability to pull insights from the metrics, and present findings and plans for improvement to senior leadership.
    • Excellent communication skills
