    Helios HR is currently seeking talented recruiting professionals for the position of Recruiting Consultant. As a Recruiting Consultant for Helios HR, you will be bringing your recruiting expertise to our current and future clients on both long term engagements as well as short term projects. These projects will involve assisting our clients onsite and/or remote based across all tactical, operational and strategic facets of Recruiting.

    Responsibilities

    • Building and maintaining great relationships with multiple clients
    • Providing top notch customer service to our clients
    • Attend prospect meetings and articulate a recruitment strategy to potential clients
    • Writing job descriptions for open positions as needed
    • Creatively search qualified candidates through various resources
    • Requirements gathering on new positions
    • Candidate assessment screening and interviewing
    • Reference and background checking
    • Negotiating offers

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree is required
    • Two years of experience recruiting within various skill sets (Accounting, Technology, HR)
    • Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system (ATS)
    • Strong computer skills including MS Office suite navigation of the job boards and social media and internet searching skills are required
    • Experience in salary negotiations, recruiting best practices, and the ability to recruit for a variety of positions
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional presentation skills
    • Knowledge of employment law related to interviewing and hiring
    • Ability to perform work accurately with limited direction and exercising good judgment
    • Ability to work well under pressure
    • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, including C-Suite and VP levels, with confidence and poise
    • Experience in government contracting is a plus
    • Reliable transportation and the flexibility to work in a variety of locations within the Washington, D.C metro area
