Helios HR has been engaged by a government contractor in Reston, VA to assist them in their search for a Human Resources Manager (HR Manager). This HR leader will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources including recruitment, budget accountability, training and development, benefits and compensation, and employee relations. The successful candidate will not only bring a requisite amount of human resources expertise, but also the leadership, business acumen, communication and organizational skills to effectively influence and implement numerous priorities across the organization.
This is a hands-on position requiring substantial HR experience in a growing company. Responsibilities include strategic planning and structuring, talent acquisition and retention, performance management, compensation, benefits and retirement plan administration, employee relations, and training and development.
Best qualified candidates will have a professional demeanor and the ability to work effectively with partners, clients, employees and vendors. Proven ability to work well under pressure and address high-risk situations quickly, calmly and logically. The ability to shift from thinking strategically and creatively to administering tactical HR programs and functions is critical to this role.
